Sunday! Next Collective Meeting & Community Space Organizing Meeting!

Arise! has been going through rough times (for real!) and will be closing in the near future. At our next collective meeting, we'll be talking about the things we need to do to close down our space: clearance sales, cleaning it up, communicating with the local and national communities that have relied on us, taking care of our debts to distributors (e.g., Slingshot), etc. We'll also be talking about a closing date, our open hours from now until we close, help with covering shifts, etc. And anything else we think of at the time.

Arise! Collective Meeting

As Arise! starts the long process of closing responsibly, a new group is forming to create a new community space to fill the hole that will be created once we close and to meet community needs that we have not been able to meet. The next meeting is one of an ongoing series of meetings to decide what kind of space to create and how to create it.
